Disinformation was used during the Cold War and its use grew with globalization, before the Internet and social networks opened up new horizons. As we explore the mechanisms of what abuses us and what we sometimes refuse to believe, systems of power emerge and new forms of ideologies manifest themselves. When the truth of the facts becomes the central object of our struggles, disinformation is no longer just a moral issue: it is a strategic issue.
